The Magneto Kaleidoscope by The Paretti's makes use of a Cow Pill Magnet (read all about it in one of the pictures) to manipulate the dichroic glass pieces, watch parts and other items housed in the cell area. Turn or push/pull the magnet and watch the image change...an absolutely mesmerizing Image. You can add your own magnetic pieces to the cylinder to alter the images. Hot Dots with Fiber Optics  

       

Paretti's "Hot Dots" is a visually exciting scope that contains brillian colored fiber optics that at their tips are displayed glass beads and semiprecious stones in a 3" tall clear chamber (see picture).  Black glass beads tumble in the background.  The fiber optic material collects light and emits it at the ends.  The tall chamber creates a three-dimensional effect.  When this kaleidoscope is viewed away from direct light, the fiber optics collect what little light is available and they appear to glow.

The case is covered with two layers of anodized aluminum with circular cutouts that expose the second layer of color.

The eye lens is made of plastic identical to those used in eyeglass lenses.  This scope is signed by Carol Paretti on the clear plastic section surrounding the glass beads. 

Paretti's scopes are always unique and inventive.  There's nothing ever mundane about her artistry.  Carol and Tom come up with absolutely amazing designs. If you like Kaleidoscopes, you'll love this quality, well made scope.
