Peggy & Steve Kittleson are known for their beautifully made Kaleidoscopes The exterior is made of slumped glass while the oil filled cells are filled with lampworked glass and flecks of dichroic glass that go perfectly with the outside color. These perfectly coordinated images sparkle and shine to bring you a magnificent ever-changing image. The Spellbound is well named. Each turn of the cell brings you clarity of color and the real "WOW" factor in the image. Teals, blues, purples, pink, golds and lots of shads in between make this a truly beautiful kaleidoscope. The scope is 10 1/2" x 2 1/2" with a walnut stand lined with suade that measures 6 1/2" long. Each kaleidoscope is signed by the artist. The Kittlesons' consistently make beautiful kaleidoscopes. The quality of workmanship and material is always top notch. The "Walk in the Wood" kaleidoscope is one of my favorites. The exterior of the barrel is made of Zebra Wood veneer and the oil cell is filled with delights of nature- with colors reminiscent of all you see around you in the woods...earth, water & sky. This two mirror image is bright and clear and will draw you into it's ever changing beauty. The working of this side-lit kaleidoscope is smooth and even. Once you pick up this scope you will have images that will mesmerize and delight you. The image is large and the view perfectly clear. If you're a kaleidoscope lover you will definitely love the Walk in the Wood scope by the Kittlesons'.

The Kittleson's have perfected the slumped glass body of this beautiful scope. The glass inside the oil filled cell sparkles & shines. There's included inside are beautiful dichroic glass pieces. The 4 mirror systems helps create unique band pattern within the side lit object chamber. This kaleidoscopes measures 9 1/2" in length with a diameter of 2 1/8". Each one of their beautifully crafted scopes is signed by the artist.

This Brocade kaleidoscope sets in a material lined wooden stand.

This particular scope, although brand new, has a slight scratch (about 1/2") on the black front outside surface. (I didn't even notice it til I was taking a photo for this listing). It in no way affects the view inside the scope but I wanted to point it out ahead of time.
